On the night of November 5, Russians attacked Ukraine with 79 UAVs and two guided aviation missiles. This was reported by the Ukrainian Armed Forces Air Force.
That night, the Russians struck Odesa region with two guided aviation missiles X-59/69 from the Black Sea area. Additionally, the enemy attacked Kharkiv region with guided aerial bombs and launched 79 strike UAVs along with drones of unspecified types.
Ukrainian defenders shot down two missiles and eliminated 48 drones. Air defense systems were active in Odesa, Kyiv, Sumy, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, and Khmelnytskyi regions.
According to the Air Force, 30 enemy drones were locally lost in various regions of Ukraine, while another drone returned to Russia.
Consequences of the Attack
During the attack, the Russians damaged residential infrastructure in two districts of Kharkiv. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, two women suffered lacerations from glass shards and experienced acute stress reactions.
Also, on the night of November 5, Russian forces once again attacked Kyiv region with drones. The fall of a UAV resulted in broken windows of a private house.
