Ingredients:
- flour – 500 g;
- warm milk – 180 ml;
- dried yeast – 7 g (or fresh – 20 g);
- sugar – 70 g;
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- butter – 30 g;
- a pinch of salt;
- poppy seed filling (chocolate paste, jam, sugar with cinnamon and butter) – 250-300 g.
Preparation Method:
Prepare the dough. In warm milk, add the yeast, a spoonful of sugar, and a spoonful of flour. Leave it for 5-10 minutes. Mix the flour with sugar, salt, break in the eggs, and pour in the yeast mixture. Knead the dough. Melt the butter in the microwave and let it cool. Pour it into the dough. Knead until the dough is elastic and does not stick to your hands. Leave it in a warm place for 1 hour. Cover the bowl.
Divide the dough into four parts, roll each one out, spread with filling, and stack them on top of each other. Do not spread filling on the last layer. Level it out to ensure a nice round shape. Place a glass in the center and cut the dough around the edges into 16 equal parts. Take two pieces and twist them outward 2-3 times.
Preheat the oven to 170°C. Brush the pie with egg and bake for 25 minutes.
