Петиция о отмене выплаты 1000 грн от государства собрала необходимое количество голосов.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, is set to review an electronic petition regarding the support program for Ukrainians during the winter period, which proposes a payment of 1,000 hryvnias to each individual. As of Friday, November 29, the petition gathered the required 25,000 votes.

The petition was published on November 14. Its author, Roman Stan, believes that the program has shortcomings. In particular, he points out that it lacks specificity, as support during the winter period is only necessary for pensioners, low-income families, large families, and internally displaced persons.

«For households with an average salary, this money will not be as crucial. And this difference, which will arise from clear targeting, will allow for an increase in the amount of payments specifically for those who truly need it», – the petition text states.

The author also suggests reallocating these funds to other government programs, such as “eOselya”.

«Nevertheless, if the President of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers believe that in the current circumstances, the implementation of a program to distribute 1,000 hryvnias per citizen is more important and have definitively decided to proceed with it, then based on the above, I request that the funds for this program be directed specifically to those who genuinely need them», – Stan adds.

As of 11:20 AM on Friday, November 29, 25,216 Ukrainians have supported the appeal.

One thousand hryvnias under the “eSupport” program: what you need to know

On October 25, Volodymyr Zelensky announced new payments under the “eSupport” program, through which every Ukrainian will receive 1,000 hryvnias. Less than a week after this, scammers created a series of fake accounts claiming to be the Ministry of Social Policy, offering quick access to the payment.

To receive the payment from the state, one must create a card for the “National Cashback” program and connect to the program through the official “Diia” app.
