New competitions will be announced for intercity routes.

The Lviv Regional State Administration has prematurely terminated contracts with carriers due to the obstruction of the e-ticket system. This affects six suburban and intercity bus routes in the Lviv region.

«Due to the failure to comply with the passenger transportation contract and the investment agreement for the implementation of an automated payment accounting system for suburban and intercity public transport routes in the Lviv region, the Lviv Regional State Administration has decided to unilaterally terminate contracts for passenger transportation on 6 public transport routes (13 vehicles)», – reported the LODA.

The affected routes include:

№769 Lviv (Lychakivska St., 162-182) - Maidan Holohirskyi, Maidan Holohirskyi - Zolochiv Bus Station (operator LLC "ZolochivAutoTrans");

№611 Sheptytskyi Bus Station - Rava-Ruska via Velyki Mosty (2nd schedule) – OJSC "Chervonograd ATP-14628";

№753 Lviv (Lychakivska St. 162-182) – Zolochiv Bus Station - Novoselyshche (2nd schedule) – OJSC "Zolochiv ATP-14611";

№601 Sheptytskyi Bus Station - Brody Bus Station via Radekhiv (FOP Hromiak Mykhailo Ivanovych);

№191 Lviv Bus Station-3 – Maliy Liubyn - Kosivets (FOP Hlushko Lyubomyr Yaroslavovych);

№121 Lviv Bus Station-3 – Borshchovychi (PP "VestAvto").

«These bus routes will be included in the list of objects for the upcoming competition to select transport carriers for servicing intra-regional routes as soon as possible», – stated the director of the road management department of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Orest Shulikovskyi.

The LODA urges residents to report any violations by carriers regarding the schedule or route scheme. Complaints can be registered via the short number of the "Hotline of the Region" – 1684, or the Government Hotline – 1545.

It should be noted that cashless payment for travel on regional routes in Lviv region was launched a year ago. However, many carriers are boycotting the new system, and validators in the minibuses are not functioning, which means passengers are still paying for their rides in cash.
