The Rivne Medical Academy has been led by Natalia Mamontova – a district council deputy and head of the Department of Finance, Accounting, and Audit at Ostroh Academy. She replaces Rostyslav Sabadyshyn, whose contract was terminated early due to a number of violations. This was reported on January 14 by the head of the Rivne Regional Council, Andriy Karayush.
“The new leader is tasked with ensuring the inventory of the academy's assets with the involvement of representatives from the Rivne Regional Council, the Department of Civil Protection, and the health protection department of the regional state administration by March 14,” – noted Andriy Karayush.
It is known that Natalia Mamontova graduated from the Ukrainian Institute of Water Management Engineers (NUWGE) in 1995 with a degree in "Accounting and Audit." She obtained her second degree from the National University "Ostroh Academy" in "Law." She graduated with honors from both institutions.
Since 1997, she has been working at Ostroh Academy, where she led the Department of Finance, Accounting, and Audit for ten years. She holds a Doctorate in Economic Sciences and is a professor. Additionally, she has experience working in private enterprises on financial management issues. Natalia Mamontova is also a deputy of the Rivne District Council.
Furthermore, the former rector of the Rivne Medical Academy, Rostyslav Sabadyshyn, was dismissed from his position on January 13. The reason for this was the findings of an internal investigation initiated by a colleague's complaint regarding his improper performance of duties and misappropriation of budget funds. Since the inspection revealed several more violations on the part of Rostyslav Sabadyshyn, his contract was terminated early. However, the official denies his guilt and claims that “these accusations are merely an attempt to ruin his reputation.”
